Fresh off a convincing 6-2 win in our nation’s capital two nights ago, the Vancouver Canucks (9-4-2) hit the midway mark of their five-game road trip tonight when they visit the Centre of the Universe for a prime time Hockey Night in Canada showdown with the Toronto Maple Leafs (5-7-3) at the Air Canada Centre. The Canucks have won their last three in a row at the ACC dating back to January 13, 2007 and their last six in a row overall over the Leafs.

After the hard loss against the Canadians on Tuesday the Canucks came back against Ottawa like the team they really are. Lots of help from third and fourth lines.
CANUCKS 6
SENATORS 2
It was a night to remember for the Canucks at Scotiabank Place on Remembrance Day. Ryan Kesler scores twice and narrowly misses earning the first hat trick of his career and Mario Bliznak gets his first NHL goal as Vancouver takes two points in Ottawa.

It was a shoot-out in the West Saturday night as the Red Wings were in town and both teams were able to find the back of the net multiple times. The Canucks were ultimately victorious though, clipping the Wings 6-4 with a great performance from Manny Malhotra.

I am predicting Rough Riders will take down the Eskimos this week and BC Lions will win their game. Off to the Grey Cup Playoffs.

It was good to se Luongo get his shutout last night in the 3 – 0 win over the Devils. The team is still making some silly mistakes but I believe they will work this out this month and every team in the NHL will fear them by the end of November. Burrows will be back tonight and he should be back in tune in a few games. Salo would be an extra bonus. I predict a 4-3 win for the Canucks tonight against the Oilers.
