BC Sports

I got this early Christmas present from Dayle, a friend of mine. It’s awesome since it goes with the blue/silver theme we have for Christmas. Thanks Dayle.

It was a great weekend in BC if you like sports. The BC Lions, Kelowna Rockets, and the Vancouver Canucks, all won their games.Vancouver Whitecaps are on their way to the playoffs. Wow, it’s great to live in British Columbia, Canada.

While maybe not a player with super skills, Gino’s heart was always in the game 100%. When the Canucks were down and not doing well in a game, Gino had a way to turn the game around and the fans would chant, Gino, Gino. I will never forget the beginning of a year in the mid-nineties when Gino was playing on Pavel Bure’s line, Gino was getting goals and for a short period of time was leading the Canucks point race. He loved the game and the fans. The fans loved him. I hear there is no cure, we are going to miss you Gino.

The Rockets beat Portland 9-3 to finish off 2013 with another win (28-3-0-2). Kelowna is ranked the second best junior team in Canada and do have less losses than number one team but have one less win. http://www.castanet.net/content/2013/12/chartier_p2444668.jpg

The Rockets still sit with only 3 losses so far this season and will be playing the Vancouver Giant.

My son, Ian, gave me a Canucks flag for the antenna on my car. Thanks son.

My wife and grandma gave me gifts that help me to be more of a Canuck for the next game.

Some socks to keep my feet warm and a new cup to put my rum and coffee in. Go Canucks.
