Happy traveling and camping.

This was a damaged area of the trailer where the area around it was feather edged. The way the light hits it, it looks raised and shows an outline of what looks like a polar bear laying on top

This trailer was built in 1955. You won’t find too many of these around today and even fewer which are worth saving.

This is after body work and prime and prep. The white stripe was painted first. The V at the back is not original but I was asked to create this.

When Ian was four years old he came home with a Ford hat on and I told him to never wear a Ford hat in my house. He listened and never did. At 20 years old he owns and drives a Chevy 4×4. He gave me the right stool for my shop this Christmas.

He still remembers that day and we laugh about it.

The duct from the heat shed worked great but now that the temp has dropped and winds are more prominent a lot of the heat was radiating off duct.
image

This has made a huge difference in the shop temp and I am able to get the temp in shop up to 65-70 degrees easily.

The duct system is covered with 1″ Styrofoam.

The truck came for the Scout today and it’s gone home. It was painted with Endura paint.

image

A little more work for the owners and they’ll be digging in the mud with it. Have fun.

Painted this 1973 Scout last night in my paint booth using the new heat shed for heated air while painted.

image

Used Endura to paint this 4 x 4. Turned out very well. Good flow and leveled nicely.

image

Well the heat shed is built, Baby Fisher is puking out heat, and duct work is connected to blow warm air into the shop.

image

Painted a 1973 Scout last night using this heat system and it worked very well.

image

My next step is insulate the heat shed tonight and to use 6″ flexible ducting to supply intake air to the stove so paint booth blower won’t effect air intake to stove.

image

Intake for paint booth air flow is supplied by two 16″ x 16″ vent holes in the floor of the heat shed.

Finished the securing the chimney yesterday and put the fancy cap on. The Fisher stove burns awesome.

image

The heat shed is built beside the shop with intake box finished on shop and ready for connection.

image

Today I will be building the duct to connect the two and this weekend testing it on a paint job I have to do.
